The Clock Game: This lesson begins with a 1 to 12 clock song. The student then plays the game of finding the time based on the positions of the long and short hands of the clock.

The Colors Treasure Hunt: The student practices finding the colors on the button of the phone. Colored paper or stickers can be placed on the buttons of the phone as illustrated in the picture.

The Coin Game: This lesson begins with a song about coin value. The student then plays a game to learn the basic coin values. The answers are spoken so the game uses conversation techniques to also help develop pronunciation skills.

Guided Writing: This lesson begins with a song and is followed by a step by step guided writing session based upon the song. Students can work at their own pace, repeat sections, or skip ahead using the telephone keypad.

Sight Word Bingo: This lesson consists of sight word bingo games based on the Dolch 220 list of high frequency words. The game begins with the pre-primer list, but the students can skip forward to any level. Reading Friends: This project uses volunteers to record the books most frequently read by beginning readers. When students call the phone number from their home phone, the system will check what books the student has checked out from their school’s library. It will then read the story to the student and ask the student questions about the story to check on reading comprehension.
